The Center for Gerontological Nursing (CGN) at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing was awarded a grant from the John A. Hartford Foundation to enhance the school's geriatric nursing capacity. The grant has supported two major initiatives that aim to improve patient care through research. Implementation of the Geriatric Clinical Scholars Partnership (GCSP), patterned after the Densford Clinical Scholars program, was assisted by Densford Center staff, who also provided ideas for development of the new model used at the Gerontological Nursing Research Summit.
