Initiated
in spring 2001, the Rounds are one-hour presentations intended
to highlight research and scholarly work that is being done
by faculty and other nursing leaders from the community and,
thus, showcase nursing. On occasion, a speaker will be invited
who is not a nurse to provide a non-nursing perspective on
an issue of great importance; or who is from outside the local
area to provide a national viewpoint.
All nurses throughout the community are
invited to attend, as are other individuals who are interested
in the topic. Please check back in September for the 2006-2007 Grand Rounds schedule. Grand Rounds are held from
12:00 to 1:00 in 4-180 Weaver-Densford
Hall on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota.
Here is a link to the PowerPoint presentation given by Dr. Diana Mason at our most recent Grand Rounds on May 8, 2006.
